Highland Park Elementary School had their 4th annual Technology Night on March 7, 2019. This was a student-led event for parents and people in the community. It was the perfect opportunity for our first and second graders to teach others about the technology they use daily in the classroom to learn. This year's Tech Night had a circus theme. Our students entered the main arena and took visitors on adventures that included, but was not limited to Voki, STEM activities, Nearpod, Flipgrid, Pebble Go, QR Codes, Greenscreen, and Coding Robots. This event has continued to grow each year and is now drawing the attention of other educators who traveled from neighboring states to attend the event. Education students from the University of North Alabama partnered with us on this event We would love for you to join us next year.
