This year Highland Park has added a new enrichment opportunity for our students.  Each week Senorita Sarah, an elementary education/Spanish major currently studying at the University of North Alabama, visits each class to teach them Spanish.  Already we are hearing them using new words they are learning throughout the day.  They began learning basic greetings and they are currently learning the Spanish color words.  The way they are acquiring this second language so quickly is amazing.  Take a little peek inside one of their lessons... Spanish Colors Lesson
