My name is Mrs. Kayla Passarella. I attended Rogers High School from kindergarten thru twelfth grade and graduated in 2006 as the class valedictorian. Then, I went to UNA on scholarship and graduated summa cum laude in December 2009 with my degree in elementary education and was awarded the Keller Key. I finished my master’s degree in elementary education in December of 2012, and my education specialist degree in teacher leadership in May of 2022.

I am married to John Passarella. We are the proud parents of Sadie Passarella. While teaching is my passion, I also enjoy many other activities. I love to read, travel, exercise, and watch sports, particularly Alabama football. Roll Tide!!!

I began my career in teaching with Muscle Shoals City Schools in 2011. I taught kindergarten for 10 years at Howell Graves. In 2021, I moved to Highland Park Elementary to teach first grade. I am so blessed to work in a school system with such wonderful people & children.
