Welcome to the Zebra Class!

I'm Kelly Lane, and this is my fourth year at Howell Graves. I previously taught at West Elementary in Russellville. After staying home several years while my kids were small, I am loving being back in the classroom!

I have a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Alabama. I am certified in AMSTI, ARI and LETRS.

I am married to Jeremy Lane, and we have 3 children - Annie, Davis and Maggie. Our family lives in Muscle Shoals. Jeremy works at Family Pharmacy. Annie is in the 8th grade at MSMS. She loves tumbling, dancing and being on the sidelines cheering on the Trojans. Davis is a 4th grader at MES. He loves basketball and anything outdoors. Maggie is a 3rd grader at MES. She enjoys tumbling, as well as playing softball and basketball. We are big Auburn fans and go to as many athletic events as we can. We also enjoy traveling, family game nights and cheering on the Trojans! 

I am so thankful to be a part of the HGP faculty. I take my role as a kindergarten teacher very seriously and try to give my students the best possible first year of school that I can. I love seeing learning come to life for them each day!
