    Mission Statement
    The mission of the Muscle Shoals City Schools’ special education department is to promote a standard of excellence and innovation in special education practice through leadership, advocacy, and technical assistance for the purpose of fostering exceptional teachers, and empowering exceptional parents, as they collaboratively care for and educate exceptional children.

    Goal
    Our goal is to ensure that all children with disabilities have available to them a free appropriate public education through quality programs that meet the needs of the individual learner.
