Welcome to the Hippo Classroom! 

In 2006, I graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, English/Language Arts.  In 2011, I graduated summa cum laude with a master's degree in Special Education.  Both my bachelor's and master's degrees are from Auburn University.  I am currently pursuing my Educational Specialist degree from the University of North Alabama.  This is my fourteenth year teaching and my fourth year at Howell Graves Preschool.  I feel so fortunate to be the hippo teacher at Howell Graves!

I am married to Jeff Whiteside, and we have two daughters; Abby and Sarah are both Muscle Shoals Trojans.  In our spare time, we enjoy traveling, cheering on the Auburn Tigers, and going to the lake.
