Hello.  I would like to take a moment to say hello and share with you a little about myself.  I am beginning my first year as assistant principal and MSMS and I am extremely excited about the opportunity.  I have served as an educator in the Muscle Shoals City School system since 2005.  During the last 16 years, I was a fourth grade Math, Science, and History teacher at McBride Elementary School and coached softball at Muscle Shoals High School with my wife Jill Green, who also teaches at Highland Park Elementary School.  I was very blessed to have worked with so many outstanding educators over my time at MES and to have had the opportunity to coach so many quality student/athletes, with my wife. 

Jill and I have been married 12 years and have a seven-year-old daughter, Tatum, who will be entering the second grade at HPES.  I am originally from Danville, Kentucky but I have lived in Alabama since 2003.  Before moving to Alabama to begin my teaching career I lived in Buffalo, NY, and Pittsburgh, PA due to my previous career in public relations, marketing, and banking.  I currently hold a B.S. degree in Business Administration, Masters in Sports Management (which is what led me to Buffalo, NY after graduating my first go-around).  I then obtained my bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 2003.  Recently I have earned my master’s degree and Eds in Instructional Leadership. 

I look forward to the exciting opportunities that lay ahead this school year for our students, faculty, staff, and administration.  I am thrilled to be a part of the FaMily at Muscle Shoals Middle School.
