I am currently in my 29th year of teaching fifth grade.  I have been at McBride Elementary for 19 years.  I have always loved teaching fifth grade and playing a part in my students' success!  I am married to my best friend, Ken, and we have two daughters and one son.  Our daughter, Katie, teaches third grade, and Kess is a dental hygienist. Collin is a junior at Mississippi State majoring in professional meterology. I love spending time with my family, cooking, reading a good mystery book, and always up for a good road trip! I can´t leave out our two cats, Sambo and Wylie!! They are pretty spoiled; my students will hear of their adventures throughout the year! I look forward to the new school year and helping my students grow academically throughout the year!
