Mrs. Scales has taught 23 years in the Muscle Shoals City School System.  Currently, she is a 4th grade Reading/Language Arts teacher.

She is married to Tyler and they have two daughters, Olivia and Kate, who attend Muscle Shoals High School.  She received her Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Alabama.
