Mrs. Basden has been an educator for twenty-five years. She has been teaching third grade reading at McBride Elementary for seven years. She has her BS in Early Childhood Education from Athens State University. She holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Alabama. Mrs. Basden is married to Scott Basden. They have three sons; Walker, Bentley, and Bryant.
