Hello!  I began teaching at McBride Elementary in 2001.  I taught various subjects in 5th grade for 12 years and now teach Reading Intervention.  I love seeing students succeed in the classroom while instilling a love of reading.

I attended Auburn University where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education.  After moving to Florence, I  obtained a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Instructional Leadership along with an Educational Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership.  I finished my schooling at Samford University where I earned a Doctoral Degree in Instructional Leadership.  I also have National Board certification in the area of Literacy.
