Mrs. Vandiver has been an educator for 24 years.  This is her 16th year being a third grade teacher at McBride.  Before teaching at McBride, she taught in the Tuscumbia City School Sysyem. Mrs. Vandiver teaches Math and Science at McBride and is a team teacher with Mrs. Letsinger.  

Mrs. Vandiver received her Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education from Athens State University and a Master of Elementary Education Degree from The University of North Alabama.  Mrs. Vandiver was raised here in the Shoals area.  She has been married for 25 years and has two sons.  Education and children have always been an important part of her life.  She loves teaching and meeting new people every year. Preparing children for a successful future is her goal and she enjoys spending her days doing what she truly loves.  Mrs. Vandiver is proud to be a Trojan!
