I am a Florence native and graduate of Central High School and the University of North Alabama. (Roar Lions!) In 2017, I married my husband, Zach Gourgeot, and we are expecting our first baby boy this September.

It is my hope that students in my classroom feel valued and held to higher expectations. With two younger brothers, my love for teaching began at a young age. I have always known that this is my calling, and I am so thankful to be living out that calling as a member of the Muscle Shoals faMily since 2014.
