Jessica Palmer Hood, a graduate of the Muscle Shoals City Schools, is in her fourth year as the Assistant Director of Bands at Muscle Shoals High School.

Mrs.. Hood attended the University of Alabama where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Instrumental Education degree and obtained her Master of the Arts in Music Education degree from the University of North Alabama in 2020. 

​Mrs. Hood is married to Mr. Griffin Hood, paraprofessional and percussion instructor at Muscle Shoals High School.
