My name is Emily Lawler.  I am originally from Decatur where I graduated from Austin High School in 1995.  I came to the Shoals to attend UNA where I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (grades 1-6) in 1999 and a Master’s Degree (grades K-6) in 2001.  I also received an Education Specialist degree from the University of West Alabama in 2020.  I taught third grade for four years in Florence and this is my 21st year teaching first grade at Highland Park.  My husband, Stephen, coaches varsity football and basketball at Muscle Shoals High School.  We have one son, Jack, who is a senior this year.  We are proud to be part of the Trojan faMily.  Go Trojans!
