I was raised in Langdale, Alabama, which is a little north of Auburn.  I completed my BS and Master’s Degree at the University of North Alabama. In 2007, I became a National Board Certified teacher.

My husband, Mike, and I have 5 grown children and 5 grandsons. All our children and three of my grandsons have attended or still attend school at Muscle Shoals.  The other grandsons will be here soon! We also have 2 cats, 4 dogs, and 4 horses. I love watching college football (War Eagle), going to the river, and having big family dinners!

Webster has been part of my life for the past 32 years, starting when my oldest son entered 1^st grade.  Since 1996, I have been a 2nd-grade teacher at Webster (the best age to teach). I truly love this great community school "Where Kids Come First!"
