    Dear Parents,

    Howell Graves will offer supplies at a cost of $75.00 for the 2022-2023 school year.  We implemented our supply package last year and had great success.  The staff and I have researched and calculated that kindergarten supplies alone could be approximately $100.00 to $125.00 depending on the year and the classroom.  This is not including the party money fee, class t-shirt, and other miscellaneous items. 

    We have put together a supply package, which includes all of the basic supplies requested at the beginning of the year plus most supplies usually requested from you later during the year.  Because we are a tax-exempt organization, we can buy these items in bulk and get better prices.   One example of this is our kindergarten mat.  Mats usually cost $10-$12. However, we are able to purchase them at a price of $6.50 each.  Another convenience of purchasing a supply package is not fighting crowds or waiting in long lines. 

    The cost of our supply package is $75.00, classroom t-shirt is $10.00, and party money is $15.00, which is a total of $100.00 per child that will be due at registration.  Please know that you are not required to participate in this and we will provide you with a supply list so you can shop for your child’s supplies.  In addition, some items will need to be purchased online. If you choose not to purchase a supply packet, your child’s teacher will have a supply list for you at registration. The only item not in our package is your child’s backpack.  It will need to be large enough for folders and other items.  Students will not be allowed to have rolling backpacks.

    This is not a fundraiser for Howell Graves.  It is not our intent to make a profit off these packages.  We wanted to make the process of purchasing the correct supplies easier for you.  While you have the option to purchase supplies from Howell Graves or to purchase them individually, we encourage you to take advantage of our supply package.
