I am currently in my 33rd year teaching in the Muscle Shoals City School system.  I began my career teaching mathematics at the high school.  I have taught high school math, middle school math, 3rd grade and 5th grade.  I am currently in my 15th year teaching 5th grade math.  I love teaching 5th grade and instilling a love of learning in students.  I am married and I have 1 son and 1 daughter.  My son, Huston Woodis, is married to my beautiful daughter in love, Lindsey Monroe Woodis.  They have my granddog named Finley.  Huston is a real estate agent for MarMac in Florence and Lindsey teaches 4th grade at Weeden Elementary School in Florence.  My beautiful daugher, Anna Grace Woodis, is in her second year of pharmacy school at Union University in Jackson Tennessee.  She has another one of my granddogs, Rudy.  I love to play tennis and read in my spare time.  I am a huge Alabama fan so ROLL TIDE!!
