I am currently in my 33rd year teaching in the Muscle Shoals City School system.  I began my career teaching mathematics at the high school.  I have taught high school math, middle school math, 3rd grade and 5th grade.  I am currently in my 15th year teaching 5th grade math.  I love teaching 5th grade and instilling a love of learning in students.  I am married and I have 1 son and 1 daughter.  My son, Huston Woodis, is married to my beautiful daughter in love Lindsey, and they have my grandpup named Finley.  Huston is a real estate agent with MarMac in Florence and Lindsey teaches 4th grade at Weeden Elementary in Florence.  My beautiful daughter is in her second year of pharmacy school at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee and has a grandpup named Rudy.  I love to play tennis and read in my spare time.  I am a huge Alabama fan so ROLL TIDE!!!
