  • Muscle Shoals City Schools offers a diverse curriculum. We believe in developing the child academically by offering core curriculum, Advanced Placement courses, and a host of diverse electives. Muscle Shoals City Schools supports the rigorous Alabama College and Career Standards to ensure our students are prepared and are competitive with students across the nation. Teachers follow the Alabama Courses of Study located on the Alabama State Department of Education.  

    Muscle Shoals City Schools is proud to partner with the Alabama Reading Initiative (ARI), Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative (AMSTI), ACCESS Distance Learning, A+ College Ready, Alabama Best Practices Center - Powerful Conversation Network, Key Leaders Network, Instructional Partners Network, FAME Studios, Alabama Wildlife Federation, and many more.

    Muscle Shoals City Schools is proud to employ system-wide Instructional Partners for grades K-12. Muscle Shoals Instructional Partners (IPs) are a team of educators that work collaboratively alongside other system educators to improve student learning.  Together, IPs and teachers analyze data to make informed instructional decisions.  IPs offer a second set of hands available to serve all teachers in job embedded professional development that fosters a community of learners.  There is a shared trust and sense of purpose in the partnership between the two.  The goal is to graduate students who are college and career ready.
