Extended Day Can Make A Difference
The Extended Day Program is an alternative for parents who work in the afternoons. Each school site has it's own Extended Day Program that starts immediately after school until 5:30 p.m. In Extended Day, students work on homework, engage in indoor and outdoor recreation activities, take part in enrichment activities (depending upon the school site) such as Art and Karate. Students enjoy being with friends in a safe, fun, educational environment. Enrollment forms can be picked up at the Muscle Shoals Board of Education or any or the school sites. Forms can also be printed from the documents portion of this webpage. Program fees are listed below.
2012-2013 Registration Fee: $20
Full-time rates are for those students attending the Extended Day Program 4 or more days per week. Part-time rates are offered for 1, 2 or 3 days per week. Due to the fact that the extended day program is self-supporting, fees must be paid in a timely manner. Extended Day does not charge for school holidays or closings. Therefor, those weeks will be prorated. However, please note that discounts will not be given for days/weeks missed due to sickness or personal choice.

(Both the registration fee and registration packet must be turned in to ensure a spot in the program)
FULL TIME ONLY
Grades K-6
Hours: 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Cost: 1 student - $90.00 per week
2 students - $160 per week
3 students - $210.00 per week
