Welcome to the Department of Financial Accounting. This department provides the financial management services for the Superintendent, Local Schools, Child Nutrition, Extended Day and the Muscle Shoals City Board of Education. All budget and financial reports are prepared in accordance with the generally accepted accounting principles and comply with reporting requirements outlined in the Financial Planning, Budgeting and Reporting System for the Alabama Public Schools. The Financial Accounting Department is audited each year by the state, federal and independent outside auditors. All required documents are located under the document tab of the Financial Accounting site.
